I'm not sure how to implement this in a clean way that doesn't confuse users. One could obviously just disable the gating but a better approach might be to grey out the internet options, too, in the DetailsActivity for apps where those settings don't make any sense, due to lack of internet access.

Yes, I think approach number 2 makes most sense. I'll have a look into that.
